2491, USS DEFIANCE
The UNSC is in the middle of a political crisis. Scattered, powerful rebellions exist all throughout the Outer Colonies, causing widespread panic and the possibility of massive amounts of civilian deaths. The USS Defiance, a large transport ship, has begun to fight these "Innies", as they are referred to by UNSC personnel onboard the Defiance. ONI has infiltrated this vessel, sending one or two spooks to each platoon, keeping a close eye on UNSC behaviour. Tension rises, and it is clear that the UNSC will have to take further action against the Insurrectionists - the rebellion grows, despite UNSC Marine Corps interference..
